The National Institute of Anthropology and History of Mexico has published the Thematic Network Digital Technologies for the dissemination of cultural heritage.
The network, counting on more than 60 members so far, brings together academics, students, researchers, private sector professionals, and civil society members that have successfully taken advantage of technology to promote cultural heritage.
The objectives of the members of the network are: participating in research activities and organizing proposals for this type of discussions, promoting topics, speakers and professional activities, identifying potential members to nominate them to the Technical and Academic Council in order to have a productive dialogue and create better analysis and reflection tools. In this way, next year it is expected to begin with an experimental phase and implement resources on specific projects.
The second activity of the network will be the seminar: “Trends, kinds of publications, and digital devices for publications.” The seminar will take place on 26th June at 11:00 at the Michoacán Regional Museum.
