Workshop for strengthening indigenous languages in childhood education

The National Commission for de Development of the Indigenous People (CDI) of Mexico and the and the Indigenous Language Institute (INALI) have implement a Workshop for Reflection, Analysis and Definitions of Actions for the Strengthening of Indigenous Languages.
With the objective of increasing the use, assessment and strengthening of national indigenous languages in the services provided to student population by the Casas del Niño Indígena (CNI), in the sates of Hidalgo, Guerrero, Oaxaca, and Chiapas, the National Commission for de Development of the Indigenous People (CDI) and the Indigenous Language Institute (INALI) have implement a Workshop for Reflection, Analysis and Definitions of Actions for the Strengthening of Indigenous Languages in the CNI.
The workshop deals with the role of the Casas del Niño Indígena in the compliance of the cultural and linguistic rights, and the different methodological tools to strengthen the national indigenous languages that are spoken in these for entities.
At the same time, proposals of activities for increasing the use of native languages and boosting the culture of indigenous people are being carried out.
