A group of Scientifics funded by the European Union has created an educational web site, Languages in Danger, which contributes to the preservation of endangered languages.

Children from the Wayuu community (Guajira) have received school material, water and sweets from the Association of Friends of the Instituto Caro y Cuervo, of the Colombian Government.
